MOST LIKELY AND RECENTLY TRANSFERRED PLAYERS

     016/017 Summer Football Club transfer

We are always the best in FOOTBALL UPDATES.

If you would also like to know more about completed transfers from other top leagues, you can simply visit English Premier League Transfers and Italian Serie A Transfers sections. The rest of Europe transfers are available as well, meaning that all the latest transfers from top European leagues will always be just a click away.

West Bromwich Albion have made their first signing of the summer with the acquisition of winger Matt Phillips from Queen's Park Rangers for an undisclosed fee. Phillips, 25, has been a target for West Brom manager Tony Pulis since he became boss in January 2015, and the winger has moved to the Hawthorns on a four-year contract. Phillips moved to QPR in August 2013 and scored 13 goals in 82 appearances for the EPL club.

While English Premier League Transfers, Spanish La Liga Transfers and Italian Serie A transfers have been allocated a special section on our website, all other football transfers will be displayed on the Rest of Europe Transfers page. This could easily become one of the most visited pages on Soccernews seeing that great football is also played outside the three aforementioned leagues.

Ashley Fletcher has joined West Ham United, on a four-year deal, after his contract at Manchester United expired. The 20-year-old striker, who has signed a four-year contract with the Hammers, spent the second half of last season on loan at Barnsley, helping the Tykes win the Johnstone's Paint Trophy and promotion from Sky Bet League One via the play-offs.

Watford have signed Colombia international Juan Camilo Zuniga on loan from Napoli. The 30-year-old full-back will move to Vicarage Road on an initial one-year deal but Watford also have the option to make the move permanent. Zuniga, who has made 62 appearances for his country, joins Isaac Success, Christian Kabasele and Jerome Sinclair as new signings at with the Hornets this summer.

With so much money being invested in the squads every single year, it is no wonder that Russian Premier League is quickly closing the gap behind leading European championships. Everything suggests that clubs like Zenit, CSKA, Spartak Moscow and Dynamo Moscow will continue to spend piles of cash on South American players, as well as on their European counterparts driven mostly by materialistic motives.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has left Bayern Munich to or and joined EPL side Southampton for a reported fee of €15m. The 20-year-old Denmark international, at Bayern since 2012, spent the last season on loan at Schalke where he made 23 league appearances to help them to a fifth-place finish. Hojbjerg will become the second arrival at Southampton during the close season after the signing of England under-21 winger Nathan Redmond from relegated Norwich City last month.

When we talk about Portugal, there is every chance that Benfica, Porto and Sporting Lisbon will announce several low-profile signings, at least one of which would prove to be a star in the making. Sporting Braga are doing their best to stay close to the Big Three of Portuguese football and they are traditionally the club that are the busiest during the transfer windows.

Besiktas have confirmed that Gokhan Tore has completed his loan move to West Ham. West Ham manager Slaven Bilic worked with the 24-year-old winger at Besiktas, and it seems that the duo will be reunited at the Olympic Stadium in London next season. Tore will be West Ham's third summer signing, joining defensive midfielder Havard Nordtveit and fellow winger Sofiane Feghouli, both of whom arrived on a free transfer.

The Former Barcelona and Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes has joined newly-promoted Middlesbrough on a two-year deal. The 34-year-old Spaniard joined United in January 2015, but a public fallout with then-manager Louis van Gaal, who accused him of refusing to play for the reserves, saw him shipped out to Belgian outfit Standard Liege on loan last season.

DO YOU AS WELL KNOW that the Summer transfer period for Ligue 1 and Domino's Ligue 2 will open on June 9, and close at midnight on the evening of August 31st. During this period, the LFP will announce transfers in two stages: firstly, all transfers will appear in normal text when announced by the clubs; secondly, the official transfer will appear in bold text once it has been ratified by the DNCG and the LFP.

Middlesbrough have signed Valencia defender Antonio Barragan on a three-year contract. The 29-year-old has made over 100 appearances for Valencia, scoring twice, after spells at Deportivo La Coruna and Valladolid. The right-back also has English experience, having been at Liverpool when he was 18. He is manager Aitor Karanka's sixth summer signing as the club prepare for their return to the Premier League.

Swansea have completed the €2.4m signing of Mike van der Hoorn from Ajax on a three-year contract. The 23-year-old joins a day after the Swans confirmed the arrival of his compatriot Leroy Fer from QPR for an undisclosed fee. Van der Hoorn started his career at Utrecht, and won the club's Player of the Year in 2013 shortly before moving to Amsterdam. Van der Hoorn will compete for selection with Federico Fernandez, Jordi Amat and club captain Ashley Williams.

AND THEREFORE, IF ALL THE AGES ATTACHED TO ALL THESE PLAYERS ALLOWED THEIR PERFORMANCE IN CLUBS, WHY NOT START NOW TO PROVE YOUR TALENT.
